Torsion Vibration Symposium 2025

A must-attend event for experts in torsional dynamics!

The Torsional Vibration Symposium (TVS) is one of the major technical events devoted to the dynamics of rotating systems and torsional vibrations. Held in Salzburg, it brings together specialists from the automotive, marine, rail, aerospace and energy industries from all over the world.

For this 2025 edition, more than 40 conferences are scheduled over 3 days, focusing on key themes such as:

  • NVH challenges of modern powertrains
  • Integration of alternative energies
  • Advanced simulation and validation tools
  • The impact of modern fuels on system reliability

During the second conference session on May 15, our FEV colleagues will present the paper:

“From Diesel to Modern Fuels – The Changes in Crankshaft Torsional Vibration”

This work is the fruit of collaboration between FEV experts along with Swapnil Shah from ENORISE

The subject addresses the effects of alternative fuels on crankshaft vibration behavior, highlighting the new constraints induced by modern fuels – a central issue for the reliability of tomorrow’s combustion and hybrid engines.

With this contribution, ENORISE demonstrates its expertise in the study and fine understanding of complex dynamic phenomena.
